The Bordeaux's Summer School Program offers an even wider range of disciplinary themes. Courses cover more than ten very different disciplines, ranging from Neuroscience to Applied Chemistry, Environmental Sciences and Public Health.
Research based content
These summer schools are organised in collaboration with the Graduate Research School of the University of Bordeaux, as well as internationally renowned laboratories and institutes, which share their expertise and state-of-the-art equipment.
2019 edition
From June 25th to June 28th, 2019, The University of Bordeaux Graduate Program in Light Sciences and Technologies organized a summmer school dedicated to "Short-pulse lasers and applications".
Open to graduate students, doctoral students, post-doctoral researchers, engineers, industrials and professionals, the summer school introduced the physics of short pulse laser matter interaction.
On this occasion, the University of Bordeaux welcomed a panel of top international researchers in the domains of short pulse lasers, laser matter and laser plasma interaction, secondary sources, and inertial confinement fusion.
