In collaboration with the International Relations Department, the GRS works to develop the international strategy and to strengthen the range of international programs in order to increase the visibility of the doctorate at the University of Bordeaux.

Its realization is based on :

• the development of structuring partnerships for doctoral schools, Graduate Programs and in the framework of the European alliance ENLIGHT
• the promotion of three systems to support and enhance international partnerships: the cotutelle doctoral program (double degree), international co-supervision, and the European doctoral label
• support for the international mobility of doctoral students through various internal programs and prestigious partnerships (Fulbright, Mitacs, etc.)
• the construction of an active policy of attractiveness for the recruitment and reception of international doctoral students
• promotion of the University of Bordeaux doctorate in international fairs and networks
